Operations Director

DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a high capacity person to help coordinate and execute the mission and programs of Truth to Table. You would you be responsible for keeping the organization profitable throughout its every function. As the Operations Director, you will be responsible for the growth and profitability of the organization and include expense control, staff management, product creation, and department supervision. This position requires someone who is extremely organized, has a keen attention to detail and the flexibility to work with different aspects of a growing organization.

*This is a part-time, contracted position for 30-35 hours per week.

OPERATIONS

  • Analyze, create and organize office and team operations and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Research and implement new directives for business growth and health
  • Coordinate and produce Truth to Table board meetings
  • Overseeing staff productivity
  • Oversee and lead staff/team projects to completion
  • Develop and implement guidelines for employee evaluations, recruitment, and promotion
  • Develop, and manage the Truth to Table intern program
  • Assist the Truth to Table Founders (when needed and requested)
  • Oversee organization finances, financial reporting and Human Resources

FINANCE

  • Manage the overall accounting and bookkeeping for the organization including accounts payable and receivable, inventory and capital assets, banking, and payroll functions
  • Work closely with the CEO to handle revenue for all development initiatives, and projects
  • Interface with CPA firm to coordinate annual financial reports and all necessary tax needs
  • Facilitate the annual budget process
  • Create and oversee project budgets and projections
  • Provide monthly financial reporting and analysis of financial statements, including a statement of activities, fund balance, and sources/uses of funds, to the and, as requested, to the Board of Directors
  • Provide administrative assistance, including oversight of outsourced contractors, vendors, and contracts.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or administrative related field preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
  • Proficient in Google apps (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
  • Proficient in all Apple products (OSX, iOS, iCloud, etc.)  
  • Previous experience with arts/education administration and/or nonprofit management, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll, etc. preferred
  • Pastoral reference required

Content Creator

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a part-time, in-office, experienced content creator to be part of our team. The position is responsible for creating innovative media and content pieces that embody our aesthetic and Truth to Table’s messaging.

The Content Creator must be: imaginative, talented, a clear communicator, a team player, and a smart creative who can deliver high quality + engaging creative work. This position requires the ability to work with minimal direction and the capacity to move quickly while delivering high-quality work. Must have excellent creative writing skills.

We are looking for someone who is curious in life and always wants to learn and grow. You have a beyond-the-basic understanding of our organization and the type of content Truth to Table & Havilah creates. You’re a storyteller with an eye for fun + a tad edgy imagery and graphics. Your friends describe you as RAD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, optimize and produce original content, including collateral, website, blogs, ads, social, email and a variety of content pieces
  • Work with our team to develop efficient and creative plan to repurpose existing content & distribute across all channels
  • Work autonomously or with the Truth to Table team to brainstorm, strategize and develop content ideation and timely execution of creative projects and deliverables
  • Help develop, communicate and execute on content plans and social campaigns
  • Brainstorm new, exciting ways to showcase our resources and customers through compelling visuals on social media and our branded website
  • Generate content for videos, articles, digital and more to be used on websites and social media
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of branding and sales generating campaigns
  • Work with our team to help execute social media calendar to be in line with our product launches, sales and/or seasons

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of creative writing and content creator work experience or similar
  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred
  • High knowledge of current and emerging social media platforms and tools
  • Excellent Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills and should be knowledgeable on the whole Adobe CC suite
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple project details, work independently and take initiative in suggesting new ideas
  • Experience developing a product from concept to finished good
  • Ability to thrive and prioritize tasks in a fluid and growing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with individuals at both peer and management levels
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google docs + spreadsheets
  • Have an eye for product and lifestyle photography
  • Pastoral reference required
  • Must be local in Redding, CA

Executive Administrative Assistant

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly competent Executive Administrative Assistant to provide personalized secretarial and administrative support in a well-organized and timely manner. You will work on a one-to-one basis on a variety of tasks related to the Executive Director’s working life and communication.

*This is a part-time, contracted position for 30-35 hours per week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative support and personal assistance to Director, including but not limited to, calendar management, screening all phone calls/emails/social media inbox, and travel/event arrangements
  • Acts as the point of contact between team members
  • Arrange meetings and appointments and provide reminders
  • Take dictation and minutes and accurately enter data as needed
  • Monitor office supplies and research advantageous deals or suppliers
  • Produce reports, presentations and meeting agendas
  • Develop and carry out an efficient documentation and filing system
  • Collaborate with team to create strategic plans for the fiscal year, create timelines, and set annual goals.
  • Responsible for all organizational reporting
