We’re in the middle of our I Do Hard Things study and this is the last day before we enter into WEEK TWO. Yesterday we talked about the victim mentality, and today we’re going to talk about what it means to be a survivor.

A survivor is a person who continues to function or prosper in spite of opposition, hardship, or setbacks.

HARD THINGS hit us without warning. There is no way around the sin of Adam and Eve, nor the natural disasters on Earth. We have the liberty to believe everything “bad” always happens to us, or that “life” happens to everyone. How we choose to approach this reality will be one of the defining moments of our life. God wants you to function in your hard things. Not only that, He wants you to prosper in spite of opposition, hardships, and setbacks.

EVEN MORE THAN A SURVIVOR, GOD WANTS US TO BE VICTORIOUS AND PROSPER IN OUR FAITH.
